The SASACC courses were developed specifically for the sport of angling. The courses focus on various aspects of the sport namely:

• Coaching
• Angling Administration
• Team Manager (Provincial and National)
• Team Captain (Provincial and National)

These courses are presented and completed on a distance training method with an online examination portal. SASACC members who are interested in completing any of the course can work through their club to be nominated by his/her Province to the National Association/Federation who will submit the nomination to SASACC. There is a course administration fee payable for the completion of a course. After completion of the course, the members will receive recognition for the specific designation.

The National Council of SASACC instituted a few years ago a Recognition of Previous Learning (RPL) process to enable trained and experienced members to submit an application to receive recognition for the applied designation. There is a Recognition of Previous Learning (RPL) document to be completed and a fee payable for the completion of the process.

There are numerous course in the development stage through inputs from the National Federations/Association. Once it is completed, the SASACC members will be informed and the courses will be opened for registration.
